Verkhovna Rada Deputy from the faction “Petro Poroshenko’s Block” Ruslan Demchak received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee to purchase more than 50% of the shares of PBC Bank.
This is stated on the official website of the AMC.
AMC also granted permission to Alexander Stetsyuk directly to the acquisition of more than 25% of the shares of RVS Bank and gaining control over the RVS of the Bank by taking control away from the Demchak shares of financial institutions.
Currently, Stetsyuk is the indirect owner of 100% shares of RVS through Bank “Ukrainian business group” (UBG). Demchak previously was the founder and shareholder of UBG.
We will remind, in 2015 the Deposit guarantee Fund of deposits of physical persons sold “Ukrainian business group” transition Bank “PBC”, which was created on the basis of the insolvent PJSC “omega Bank”.
The sale price of the transition of the Bank 31.86 million.
3 March 2015, the Deposit guarantee Fund has introduced temporary administration at omega Bank. The Bank was controlled by Nicholas Laguna.
