Poland has doubled its exports of natural gas to Ukraine at the end of 2017 – up to 700 million cubic meters.
It is reported by Prime with reference to the statement of the Polish oil and gas company PGNiG.
“In just 17 months – from August 2016 to December 2017 – the Polish oil and gas company supplied the Ukrainian market more than 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In 2017 the supply of gas to Ukraine has doubled, reaching more than 700 million cubic meters”, – stated in the message.
Vice-President of the PGNiG Maciej, Wozniak stated that “these results are very encouraging”.
“Our supplies are reliable and safe, which is of great importance for Ukraine. The gas portfolio in our offer is well diversified: it comes from our domestic production in Poland and from different directions of imports,” he added.
