Lutsenko explained why he classified the decision of the court of Kramatorsk

Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko coded Kramatorsk decision of the court on confiscation 15 billion, in order not to disclose the list of companies that appear in the result.

This was stated by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko during a meeting of the Committee on national security.

“Why do we classify the decision of the court of Kramatorsk. Because at the same time the Prosecutor’s office continues the investigation of dozens of cases of an organized criminal group of Yanukovych in different configurations, in different economic crimes,” he said.

“The decision of the court of Kramatorsk there are hundreds of business entities, in which Yanukovych conducted his criminal activities. The declassification of this information will greatly complicate the conduct of investigative and search operations, including secret work for the beneficiaries of these structures,” – said Lutsenko.

He said the declassification of the list would have complicated the investigation.

“If the conditional Sidorenko, collaborated with the Yanukovych… will know that his enterprise in this list, of course he will be protected from eavesdropping, relieving him of telecommunications, etc. is much stronger than when he does not know”, – said the Prosecutor General.

“I coded the court’s decision not to help the participants of the criminal scheme of the 500 enterprises to avoid, to hide, to counteract the consequence of other criminal proceedings,” – said Lutsenko.

Lutsenko also said that the Prosecutor’s office three times faced the threat of extinction or of part or the entire amount of 1.5 of the arrested money Yanukovych.

“There have been many attempts to make a decision on which just withdraw this money. If we did not do it during April of last year, I have no doubt that most of the funds would have been… removed from the arrest,”- said Lutsenko.
