In the first quarter of 2018, the government will consider further raising the minimum wage.
This broadcast of a television said the Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko reported on the official website of the Cabinet.
“From 1 January 2018, the minimum wage is 3723 hryvnia. But the law on the State budget of Ukraine recorded that at the end of the first quarter we should revisit this issue and consider the possibility of the further increase of minimum wages,” he said.
At the same time Vice Prime Minister stressed that the implementation of such a step should be economic preconditions.
“We must increase the growth rate of the economy and additional resources to the State budget. After all, the decision to raise wages should be primarily economically justified,” – said Rozenko.
