GOP Senate Candidate Unleashes Horrific Misogynistic Rant – as Campaign Platform
The candidate photograph on Courtland Sykes senate campaign website looks like a cover photo from a romance novel. Sykes sports a dark blue blazer with a white shirt (open several buttons) falling open. His hair sports that perfect combination of styled and messy. It is hard to tell if the sun is in his eyes, or he is just squinting in deep thought. Not sure if Sykes fancies himself a “ladies man” but he sure has some opinions on ladies.
This Senate candidate is no feminist
Sykes, seeking the Republican nomination in Missouri to face incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill this November, took to his campaign Facebook page with a post that read,
“In light of recent questions regarding my views on Women’s Rights, attached is my full statement from September 2017.”
So, what exactly does the pro-wall, America First, drain-the-swamp, die-hard Trump supporter Courtland Sykes think about Women’s Rights?
“I want to come home to a home cooked dinner every night at six. One that she fixes and one that I expect one day to have daughters learn to fix after they become traditional homemakers and family wives – think Norman Rockwell here and Gloria Steinem be damned.”
For brief passages, he almost seems so normal,
“I want daughters to have their own intelligence, their own dignity, their own workspace and their own degrees; I want them to build home based enterprises and live in homes shared with good husbands…”<
but then he just goes off the rails again,
“…and I don’t want them to grow into career obsessed banshees who forgo home life and children and the happiness of family to become nail-biting manophobic hell-bent feminist she devils who shriek from the top of a thousand tall buildings they are [SIC] think they could have leaped in a single bound — had men not been ‘suppressing them.'”
By now, you might be thinking Courtland Sykes does not support Women’s Rights, but he assures potential voters he does.
“I support women’s rights, but not the kind that has suppressed natural womanhood for five long decades-the kind of wrongheaded “women’s rights” that allows mean-spirited radical feminists to use political correctness and their little broom label of “sexist” to define womanhood and woman’s rights for me, for my family, for you and your family or for my country and the world. But good news: They’re finished. Ask Hillary.”
Seriously, what the hell is with Missouri and Republican Senate Candidates? Todd “Legitimate Rape” Akin, President “Grab ’em by the P—y” Donald Trump, and alleged mall creeper Roy Moore weren’t enough humiliation?
Oh, and speaking of Roy Moore, it seems birds of a feather really do flock together…
